14 Illnesses You Didn’t Know Marijuana Treats

Marijuana was made illegal in all 50 states by the mid 1930’s. In a recent poll, over 60% of Americans said they would be in favor of legalizing marijuana. Not only is it less dangerous than alcohol, but marijuana treatment can help fight diseases. Read on to see how it can be beneficial. Unlike alcohol and despite what some people may say, marijuana addiction is not real. Please note that we do not condone the use of illegal drugs.

Marijuana helps veterans suffering from PTSD.

The Department of Health and Human Services recently signed off on a proposal to study marijuana’s potential as part of treatment for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.  Marijuana is approved to treat PTSD in some states already. In New Mexico, PTSD is the number one reason for people to get a license for medical marijuana, but this is the first time the U.S. government has approved a proposal that incorporates smoked or vaporized marijuana, which is currently classified by the government as a drug with no accepted medical applications.

Many people are getting treated with marijuana. It helps in curing lots of diseases and has been proved to be a good alternative. It should be legalized all over so that more patients can have medical marijuana benefits.

The main problem with legalising, imo, is the ones required to vote & pass legalization do not suffer everyday always, 24/7, with all these debilitating medical disorders. Therefore they have absolutely no idea the amount of pain we are all feeling. Unless you get it, you don’t really get it! It’s really a shame that a plant that God allowed to grow freely amongst us is illegal when alcohol (for one example) is man-made using chemicals, etc is legal, readily available but according to not only common sense but research has shown the impairment it has upon consuming large amounts is actually more harmful to the drinker and unfortunately is the leading cause of premature death of others when someone decides to drink & drive. smh! justsaying
