Tofu is typically considered a healthy food. However, research from Loughborough University and Oxford suggests that tofu is harmful when consumed in large quantities. It can’t be 100% proven, but results showed that people who consumed large amounts of tofu suffered from memory loss. Researchers suspect the phytoestrogens in tofu are responsible.
