Top 9 Apps That Will Save And Make Money

We are always looking to make that quick extra buck here and there or looking to find the best deals in town.  Now, with technology being literally at our finger tips, it is easier to save money and even make money in no time.  Several of us like to use the internet to shop because of the online savings, but did you know there are apps out there for you to download that can help you save money just as easily?  By downloading these apps, you are going to be able to find ways to not only save money, but also make some on the side.  And let’s be honest, who doesn’t like to make money?  Simply follow these personal finance tips on which apps to get and why, and you will be saving money in no time!

ShopSavvy – This app allows you scan any barcode on anything and will find the lowest price locally and online.  The best part about this app? It’s FREE!

Gas Buddy – It never fails that gas seems to jump up in price right when I need it.  This FREE app will alert you of when prices start to rise in your area and will point you in the right direction of where the cheapest gas is in town.

Old Nave SnapAppy – For the avid Old Navy shopper, this app is simple enough to use.  All you have to do is snap a picture of any Old Navy logos and win free prizes!

SwagbucksTV App – Who doesn’t like to make money watching TV?  With this app, all you have to do is watch TV from your phone and earn 2 Swagbucks for every 5 videos you watch.  The catch is that you can only earn 50 Swagbucks per day.

RetailMeNot – Couponing seems to be the latest fad taking over, but for those of us that don’t like to go that extreme but are trying to save money, this is the app for you.  Get the best coupons available, alerts to your favorite stores at the mall, and several online and in-store coupons.

Ibotta – While this app actually requires you to make a purchase, the return on what you can earn is well worth it.  Simply sign up and download the app then choose what items you are planning on buying.  Then you just click on the earning opportunities, watch the videos, take the surveys or read the information and quickly add cash to your bank account.  Once you buy the product, snap a picture of your receipt and the cash will be added to your account.  Finally, transfer the money to your PayPal account whenever you want to cash out.

Jingit – This app pays you to watch advertisements online.  Similar to Ibotta, you can also earn money by downloading the app, going to the Walmart, and answering a couple questions about the items you’ve scanned, no purchase necessary.

ShopKick – This free app rewards you for just walking into your favorite stores, nothing more required from you.  Who is every opposed to that?

Price Match – While this isn’t an “app”, it is always best to do this before making any purchases at stores that offer price matching.  Take the extra few seconds to see if you can save some money and feel good about not having to dip into your savings account to make a purchase.
