The infographic is not there to suggest you take on a vegan lifestyle. Protein is very important to your diet. It’s there to simply show you the benefits of eating your plants. There’s no denying that a good vegetarian diet can beneficial to your health. A diet containing the right vegetables has long been known to help reduce a person’s risks for health issues, including:
- High-blood pressure
- High-blood sugar
- Unhealthy cholesterol levels
- And many other health problems
Highly healthy people will sometimes eat six or seven helpings of vegetables per day. That may be a bit high for your liking, so just focus on eating one helping of your favorite plant with every meal.
