Habit #8: Less Is Better Than More
Like we just previously mentioned, highly healthy people have experienced the pain of having over-committed themselves only to find that despite being involved in several activities, they enjoyed none of them. This is easier said than done because people often have the drive to accomplish as much as they can in the time they’re given instead of accomplishing what they can while double-checking each step along the way. Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to be a “yes” person. The power of a simple “no” will take you a long way. Less is more obviously applies to eating habits as well. For example, don’t stuff yourself. Stop eating when you’re about 75% full. After a few minutes, you feel 100% full. Eating more meals with less portions will keep your metabolism running rapidly throughout the day.
