When Apple’s iPhone application developers created Siri, they probably knew they were about to change the world of technology and make the best cell phone even better. If you have yet to experience it, Siri is an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator which works as an application for Apple’s iOS. The Siri application uses a natural language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of web services such as Google or MapQuest. Application developers at Apple claim that the software adapts to the user’s individual preferences over time and personalizes results, and performing tasks such as finding recommendations for nearby restaurants, or getting directions. The main point of creating Siri was to make everyday tasks and make them easier. Obviously there will still be things that we can perform much faster than Siri, but she has us beat one quite a few things, and we should be taking advantage of it.
Siri Can Tweet Faster Than You
Let’s say you are driving and get a brilliant idea for a funny tweet. You obviously can’t look at your phone to tweet it, but you don’t want to wait incase you forget it. All you have to do is pull out Siri and tell her to tweet. She will ask you what you want to say. After you tell her, she even confirms it with you to make sure it is exactly what you want to say.
